Lantau Island is the largest peninsula of Hong Kong. It is situated in the south west of the Hong Kong territory and offers a wide range of activities to do and visit.

It used to be known as the island of prayer as it has a large amount of monasteries. Further, it has got stunning hiking trails, beautiful nature and is surely one of the most beautiful islands in old China. Especially places like the ten thousand Buddhas, the Big Buddha, the Tai O fishing village and Cheung Chau island are places that attract many visitors.
